The rules of using Applydex.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Applydex (the "Service"), operated by Applydex ("we", "us", "our"). By installing the Chrome extension, creating an account, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Applydex is a Chrome extension that analyzes LinkedIn job postings for ghost job indicators, compares postings to your resume, and generates tailored application materials. The Service is available to users 18 years of age or older.
You authenticate using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your Google account. You must not share your account or use another person's account.

The Service offers a paid Pro plan at USD $59 per month, billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis. Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from the Applydex extension. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until then.
Prices may change. We will give at least 14 days' notice before any price change affects your next renewal.
Refunds are handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
The Service uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to analyze jobs and generate resumes, cover letters, and interview questions. AI output may contain inaccuracies or hallucinations. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before submitting it to an employer. We make no guarantee of interview callbacks, job offers, or employment outcomes.
Ghost job risk scores and layoff data are estimates based on publicly available signals. They are informational only and do not constitute a definitive judgment about any employer. Decisions about applying to any job are yours.
The Service, including the extension, website, logo, and all underlying code, is owned by Applydex and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Content you upload (resumes, profile data) remains yours. By uploading it, you grant us a license to process it solely to provide the Service to you.
The Service integrates with Google (authentication), Anthropic (AI analysis), Supabase (database), Railway (hosting), and Razorpay (payments). Your use of these third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if the Service is discontinued. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing support@applydex.com.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that ghost job scores are 100% accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for lost job opportunities, lost wages, or any indirect or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Applydex, its affiliates, and its agents from any claim arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by updating the "Last updated" date on this page and, where appropriate, by in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
